Mexi Colcannon Meatloaf Wins Recipe
Contest for Land O Lakes® Land OLakes® took first place in the healthcare recipe contest at the 2001 Premier Foodservice Forum in Las Vegas with a recipe developed by FoodSense consultants. The entry beat recipes from 50 other manufacturers and brought Land OLakes® and Alpine Lace® Reduced Fat Cheese great press. The recipe, Mexi Colcannon Meatloaf, a chipotle flavored meatloaf layered with sautéed cabbage and cheesy potatoes, had to meet strict nutrition requirements and cost less than $1.50 per serving. Bonnie Chlebecek, Land O Lakes® Culinary Services Manager told FoodSense, I knew when I chose you for the job it would be a winner. Land O Lakes® is one of the largest national dairy companies in the USA and manufactures both consumer and foodservice products. Alpine Lace® is the brand name for their reduced fat cheese and is sold nationally. Click here for Mexi Colcannon Meatloaf recipe |

Twin Cities Airport is Tops in the USA
|
|
| For those flying from the Twin Cities, the good news about the need to arrive two to three hours before your flight is that the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is a great airport! MSP was named Best Large Airport in North America for overall customer satisfaction by the International Air Transport Association for the second year in a row.
MSP ranked highest in the Best Restaurants section and was cited for the greatest improvement since 1999. It is a user-friendly place to eat, shop and relax when traveling. FoodSense developed the menus and production manuals for the airports main concourse Split Rock Bar and Grill, a Minnesota-themed full service restaurant, and the Lake Line Pub, an Irish-themed bar and grill. Since the September 11 terrorist attack only ticketed passengers can get to these restaurants. Meal service has been eliminated on most flights. Dont miss the chance to visit an oasis of calm for a nice meal when you are flying! |
